construction updates
Construction on the new truss bridge began in January of 2024 with an anticipated completion date of September 2024. Construction was awarded to Battle Ridge Builders. This project is being funded by FEMA and State of Montana DES.
CLOSURE UPDATE
During the construction of the Carbella Bridge by Park County and its contractor, Battle Ridge Builders, access is closed to the public. A designated viewing area is available on BLM land for observing the bridge assembly.
This closure is essential to facilitate BRB's activities, including offloading, assembling, and installing the new truss superstructure onto the bridge foundation.
For safety reasons, please do not cross barriers and avoid parking along the County road.
