CARBELLA

Carbella Bridge is located on Tom Miner Creek Road over the Yellowstone River approximately 14 miles southwest of Emigrant, Montana.  The existing truss bridge was washed off the abutments in the high runoff event during the Spring of 2022.  A new truss bridge has been designed and fabricated to replace the washed-out crossing. This structure is 210-foot in span and will accommodate two lanes of traffic.  Construction on the new truss bridge will begin in January of 2024 with an anticipated completion date of September 2024. This project is being funded by FEMA and State of Montana DES.
